New Website: Wagon Wheel Center

THE STORY

Wagon Wheel saw websites of similar organizations and decided theirs was lagging behind. The center is well known in the community and wanted a vibrant new website to match their shiny new building. This was one of my favourite projects as the client entrusted me with full creative responsibility over their website. They had beautiful images and were open-minded to industry trends and direction. From start to finish this project was managed flawlessly.

THE WORK

The challenge with this site was integrating all of their content ( which easily could have had separate websites)  into one site. The necessary functionality the client requested required a lot on the development side.

Our designers found a great way to integrate multiple website content without taking away from the user experience. The new website included the main page with navigation to four sub-sites, the ability to take donations, book tickets online, and a volunteer sign up form.

THE RESULTS

The new website leveled-up the client into another category of professionalism resulting in booking well respected performers. It took their beautiful photos and displayed them in a tasteful promotional way. Customers now use the site as their main tool in buying tickets, volunteer sign-ups, checking showtimes and making donations to the arts. They frequently receive compliments on their website.

*This working relationship resulted in a job offer for their Marketing Director position when it became available!

Social Media: W-C-N

THE STORY

The client – a christian based disaster relief organization wanted to reach more people and get their mission across clearly through social media – thus becoming more impactful in their vision. They give back to the community in multiple ways, organize an annual 5k race, take disaster-relief donations, and organize mission trips to Central America. They were a great candidate for Social Media!

THE WORK

I worked with them to develop a strategic plan and set goals for month 1, month 3, and 1 year. This included branding all their posts, integrating a newsletter signup, adding a Meet the Staff page, reaching out to gather more testimonies, and highlighting major events to generate awareness. We worked together to craft a clear concise message of who they are, why they help, and how others can get involved.

THE RESULTS

The client doubled their Facebook engagement. The community understood the story behind the organization. More people came forward for testimonies on how W-C-N impacted their lives. They sold out the number of spots available for their 3 mission trips.  The number of participants for the annual race grew exponentially the following year – even Bachelor star Ben Higgins joined the race!

Video Production: Bowen Center

THE STORY

Bowen Center came to 212 to record their staff trainings – currently being used for orientation purposes. The initial idea was to record the trainings at their facility. After a better understanding of their bottom line goal – I decided it would be best to have them recorded in our studio with a teleprompter. This way we could have more control over lighting and sound and creating a better final product.

THE WORK

I worked directly with their doctors to gather the required material they wanted covered. I converted that material into branded powerpoint slides. Those slides were used in conjunction with video clips to help the viewer follow along. We also used the slides as talking points on the teleprompters during shoots. We had each trainer scheduled in the production studio and coached them through talking on camera naturally.

THE RESULTS

The client was so impressed with the first video that they decided to sign on for multiple other videos. We saved the client thousands of dollars by recording new material for the DSM-5 Psychology Handbook. This material is normally presented in person to a packed theatre of doctors. We reduced the number of billable training hours and lowered the number of resources needed to present the material. Each doctor was given a DVD with the covered material.

Website Update: Bartel Printing

THE STORY

Bartel Printing is a well-established printing company. They came to us with a current website needing some updates. The current website covered the basics but lacked in some key features. I did an initial website audit and presented the results as a proposal to improve their site.

THE WORK

I worked with Bartel to make sure their website was working for them as a tool to communicate what they offer and what sets them apart in the competitive printing industry. The biggest addition to their website was the online portfolio. This included well lit photos of all print materials offered and other services available. This allowed customers to know exactly what they were capable of – so they could make an informed decision when choosing.

THE RESULTS

The new website answered many of the initial project questions. Customers could browse around and narrow their decisions before making contact. The addition of the portfolio proved for faster turn around and brought in more happy customers.

Video Production: ULEAD

THE STORY

Ulead wanted a video that captured the essence of what they do – develop leadership experiences for a variety of people to bring forth innate skills. They wanted to feature the video on their website and social media as well as use during trade shows/seminars. They also saw an opportunity to use the video for client referrals, recruitment, and new hire orientation.

THE WORK

We had an initial meeting where I gained an inside glimpse of their playful office culture and sensed their team cohesion. I really wanted the video to capture that side of the company. The video captured footage of the team conducting various ropes course experiences, a teacher testimonial praising Ulead’s services and the impact it’s had on her classroom as well as employee spotlight interviews.

THE RESULTS

The client was extremely happy with the final result- so much that they requested to do a second video! They’ve since reported that both videos are a vital tool in their marketing efforts.

*I created a Video Production Overview and checklist to streamline our video production account management process.

Services Provided

Pre-production

I worked with their company to coordinate a production schedule. We had 3 shooting locations.

Production

The first filming took place at ULEAD’s office, the second location had us interviewing a teacher that had used Ulead’s leadership development course and raved about the results and impact it had on her student’s classroom behavior. The final location was on site at Uleads ropes course.

The Story

The client – a best selling author and speaker – came to the marketing agency with a need to improve her online presence, increase speaking engagements and sell her books (print and digital) online. She understood the importance of online marketing and was open to many suggestions – a joy to work with.

The Work

I worked directly with her throughout the entire website re-design. The new website included elements of Inbound Marketing with CTA’s (Call to Actions) related to booking speaking engagements, downloading ebooks, and purchasing her books, and other items online. We focused on self-promotion to highlight her best selling book and professional accolades. I also suggested creating a press kit for potential contacts to increase speaking engagements.

The Results

The client was thrilled with her new website, social media presence, and media press kit. It gave her the confidence to reach out for more opportunities. Her bookings have increased and online sales continue to grow steadily.

Video Production: Lebermuth Legacy

Video

THE STORY

Lebermuth – a longtime client of the agency came to us with an idea to tell the story behind their brand. Starting from their roots to where they are now, and what the future holds for the company. They wanted to use the video for a big upcoming conference in Las Vegas to set them apart from others in the industry – as as well website, social media, and email marketing.

THE WORK

I had a great working relationship with their Marketing Director. We  had an initial meeting that included a tour around the facility and meeting with employees. I was able to see their facility, watch their process, test their fragrances, and gather information about their culture. The client sent over a lot of material to help us craft their story and portray it accurately.

THE RESULTS

The client loved their video and are now using it on their website, through email marketing, and at all conferences.

Services Provided

Pre-production

I worked with their marketing director to define the target audience, craft their overall message, fully understand the video’s purpose. This included gathering all print and digital material related to the company. From there I crafted a proposal within their budget.

Production

Our team shot on location as well as in a controlled studio to light and capture compelling interviews, sound, b-roll, presentations, tours and processes.

Post production

The video then went to our team where they process the footage, made edits, tweaked the sequence, added audio/color and ultimately brought the story to life.
