Wagon Wheel saw websites of similar organizations and decided theirs was lagging behind. The center is well known in the community and wanted a vibrant new website to match their shiny new building. This was one of my favourite projects as the client entrusted me with full creative responsibility over their website. They had beautiful images and were open-minded to industry trends and direction. From start to finish this project was managed flawlessly.
The challenge with this site was integrating all of their content ( which easily could have had separate websites) into one site. The necessary functionality the client requested required a lot on the development side.
Our designers found a great way to integrate multiple website content without taking away from the user experience. The new website included the main page with navigation to four sub-sites, the ability to take donations, book tickets online, and a volunteer sign up form.
The new website leveled-up the client into another category of professionalism resulting in booking well respected performers. It took their beautiful photos and displayed them in a tasteful promotional way. Customers now use the site as their main tool in buying tickets, volunteer sign-ups, checking showtimes and making donations to the arts. They frequently receive compliments on their website.
*This working relationship resulted in a job offer for their Marketing Director position when it became available!
